There’s a whole wiki article!

The event was named after their beer brand “Gold-Sprint”.

Got a box of free dura ace and 105, looks like the bianci is getting some upgrades. I may put the 105 on my son’s bike in the future. Will need a new wheelset first

i loveit

Fought the tandem and it won again. Can’t get the housing from the TT to rear canti in a good way without causing binding. Someone on bikeformus offers to custom make me a rear brake hanger to get the attachment point slightly lower. They also offered to custom make me ferrules. So that’s dope.

you need like a section of v-brake noodle in there or something.

Maybe one of these?

Exactly! The escape collective wrenches were talking about them the other day. If your bike has a dumb-shit rear dangler cable exit port right on the end of the frame, there is barely room for the cable to route appropriately on some shimano danglers, so they recommend that twisty cable.

The fixie dream is thriving in slc. Gold sprints yesterday, fixed parking garage crit today. Even got a spoke card

I need links cause I’m dumb

DC (well the suburbs) also had a parking garage race yesterday. I caught the men’s fixed race

Could be this? It is for shifting tho. I have used shift inner for braking but not shift outer before.

I’m not sure that’s long enough but maybe this one: Universal Cycles -- Jagwire EZ-Bend Brake Housing Segments [CHA146]

It doesn’t match my other housing but I suppose some white shrink tube would do it

No, that’s just regular brake housing that has a built-in ferrule on the end to connect to compressionless housing, for the tight bend at the hoods of drop bars. You want something for v-brakes. I would use solid noodle, not flexy, and then add a short segment of brake housing to it.

a v brake noodle.

honestly, if you’re looking for one of these, the bendy jawns also work. you won’t feel the difference imo

I’ve used both the bendy and non-bendy jawns extensively and both are fine. Need a bendy jawn to clear the Orcrack on my Kogswell.

A bendy noodle and a short length of housing aft to make up the difference atmo
