Either way someone on bike forums made me a custom hanger and ferrule for free and won’t even accept money for shipping. Some people are really neat

Not sure. I had to replace the included Shimano “safety” straddle cable with a more traditional one so I could get it lower. The guy that made this said he eyeballed it but would be happy to make me ANOTHER one at a different length if needed. That’s also why the adjuster at bottom has been shortened.
My other thought was to add a clamp on cable guide to the top tube around the housing to keep the angle leaving the brazeon appropriate. It would increase the bend radius elsewhere but could still potentially allow a smooth moving inner.

installed ebay rear wheel and @Shiny_squid_green front wheel on the vulture. 650b front, 26 rear, looks fucky.
i know i have a un-55 laying around here somewhere and once i find it im gonna install these WI cranks.
then ill look at it some more. maybe post a pic of the bike. for now all you get is the sweet art+stickers i received from Shiny. the ride every day sticker is a personal attack and hurt my feelings.

Cleaned up my commuter a bit since the sun is out. Cleaned the chain, pulled the stick out of the lower pulley wheel, knocked about a pound of dirt out from under the rear fender, chucked another spacer under the stem and called it good.

Knocked out the Token roller headset from the old day ruiner and smashed in the Wolf Tooth from the bin (originally knocked out of the new day ruiner frame after it was missing a few parts that showed up today). Just a disgusting amount of logos on the WT, so gross.

trying to diagnose a creak that i think is coming from a wheel on my all city. dug out a 700c wheel to swap the rear 650b wheel for. pried the tire off to discover it had the ol gorilla tape treatment. spent about 2 hours trying to clean that off. then i retaped the wheel and mounted the tire up. hoping the tire holds air overnight and i can get some insight as to my creaky situation tomorrow
