This stuff works incredibly well for tubular glue, should be good for tape residue as well

In my experience everything wipes off with a paper towel if you let it dissolve the adhesive properly
Converted my 100 x 15 mm fork to 100 x 12 mm so I can use my dynamo light on it. Bits are very cheap on Ali. The main bits are the threaded 12 mm section that threads into the 15 mm section, on this very wide fork. Actual axel is 162 mm wide for a 100 m wide fork. Also a sleeve for the non screw end. And a few spacers.

Put some parts back on the small trek frame. It’s now a cruiser bike. All my bikes have cruiser bars on them now.

My bike developed a click with every pedal rotation when the DS crank is at 1:00
This happened before and the culprit was a broken chainring bolt.
I only replaced the broken bolt last time, so I figured that another bolt had broken so I just replaced them all. None of them appeared damaged.
The click remains. 1x per rotation, right at one o’clock on the drive side.
I’m frustrated. This is drivin’ me up the wall!
Checked your pedals? I had some rust inside one that was causing a crunch that got sorted once it was serviced

I also forgot the rear QR which I just messed around with a bit.
The saddle/post is definitely also making noise but that’s different and way less annoying.

Was running a 38. This is a 42. I’ve got a 46 I might try.
I pulled the cranks to replace the chainring bolts so I know they’re nice and greased and proper tight.
Maybe the BB? My traditional randonneuse clicks like that when I’m pushing it, and when I checked the crankset spindle seems to be wobbling inside the BB.
Maybe. It’s a shimano SAINT (gold is best) and seems fine. No weird feelings or roughness when spinning it by hand.
I uninstalled and reinstalled it last time I had this issue so I’m fairly certain it’s not the bb.
I’m gonna throw some different pedals on.
Installed a 16t Endless Kick Ass cog and tensioned it up with a Mavic Zap derder I got from @Face
