Gotcha, they just looked a little low. Very cool either way!
I have ape arms so all that knuckle dragging puts my levers low
I came really close with my yellow Merckx (DDYTDY).
SRAM group from Beik.
OG Tarck TB14s.
Saddle from someone(?)
It was stolen, though and all I got back was the frame/fork.
Iām gonna find those bear badged rims somewhere one day and fuckin steal em back.
Rode two days of ragbrai. Rode a gravel option loop and there were hills I used my 32t on my cassette which is really rare. The most fun was when I hopped on a group going 25+ going through the crowd like a fucking bullet train for a couple miles.
Bonus: The first day was mostly rain and itās not making any noises. I was also comfortable despite the aggressive-for-me saddle to bar drop.
Went to go ride trails. Brought my bike and a loaner for my buddy on rack. I think the shifter on the loaner might have banged on the seatpost of my bike? When I got there, the shifter had no clicks and wouldnāt work. Couldnāt fix it. Bagged the ride.
Went home and found a youtube video of rebuilding an X7 shifter, then rebuilt it 3 times til I got it right. I think a tiny spring mightāve gotten jostled through pressure on the shift lever.
make it fixed or just donāt bother.
Iām trying to find a rear disc hub
NOONE BUY THE WHEELS!
Spent 4 hours cleaning 5 months worth of poopbarn adventures, commuting and rando rides off the h/g. Now I never want to ride it ever again.
Makes me want to fat tire + unfender my friendpoint
avoiding doing this in winter like i did
A clean bike is a happy bike, but a dirty bike is
Iāve never cleaned a bike
Not once
Except when I wipe a spot to fix or adjust something
Or look for cracks in the frame.
Yāall are disgusting
Bikes look better clean and itās a chance to get it dirty again
I donāt wash my car either.
I can understand once a year, but never is a strong commitment to I donāt even know.
