anchovies > sardines

Yeah, but where are herring on this spectrum, and are we talking about the really tasty imported anchovies?

what about kipper snacks?

definetly above the old can of smoked oysters i just ate. fuck money.

That’s herring, dude. “Kippered” refers to the method of salting, drying, and smoking things, usually herring. Tasty business, that.

i feel that it is my duty to add to this converstion.

I would eat 20 cans of these.

to one container these, those are anchovies on the left.

sardines are also the best fish you can eat health-wise.
herring>anchovies

SHowing herring love here. Ate so much free herring this summer at the music festival. Pickled herring is traditional here, so we have tons of different flavours, that shit is so dank. Fish is great, i’m glad I have friends who catch it for me.

I love me some pickled herring. Picked some up in the market recently and it was horrid and inedible. Did a bit of research and discovered that some of the best that’s imported into the US can be purchased at Ikea. I got some and can confirm this. It’s almost as tasty as the awesome pickled herring I get at the uber-schmancy Russian restaurant that serves it with blini.

When i lived in Shanghai, I ate at ikea almost once a week. It was weird. but cheap and tasty.

Oddly, yeah. Cheap and tasty.

The Ikea in Beijing also has a mysteriously delicious cafeteria. I’ve never been in an Ikea here in the States, but it really seemed odd to be eating at a store. Do all Ikeas sport strange cafeterias?

edit: just googled, ikea restaurants are normal. bizarre.
