instead of buying/reselling as your kids outgrow it

price seems reasonable, if it gets more people riding bikes even if it’s just around the block or short trips to the grocery store that’s awesome

Yeah they’re just down the block from me, I’ve gone back and forth on grabbing a commuter for the convenience but parking and storage at home is the hurdle. The apartment is full of bikes already and the “secure storage” in the building is anything but.

I saw more bike drop offs this morning than ever before! Probably saw fifteen cargo bikes this morning in the five minutes I was there! Hearts and minds are being won!

School dropoff is suuuper annoying if using an automobile! If my kiddo didn’t ride the bus I’d be biking her to school for sure.
In fact we waved at a couple of cargo kidbikers as we sat at the bus pickup this morning.

I’m moving to a suburb in the bay area and I won’t need my bullitt anymore and it makes sense for me to sell it (but browsing this thread is making me reconsider but also I haven’t needed it in forever and use it like twice a year).
A very good friend of mine is a working messenger and it would be perfect for him. It’s an old mess-used bullitt and acoustic so not really appropriate to be resold to the child owning class.
I could give a spec sheet if more details are needed but it doesn’t need anything other than new chain/chainring/cassette.
I want to hook it up for sure but last time I bought a bullitt was like 8 years ago and it was from some dad so pricing was different. I straight up don’t know where to start on price. I could see anywhere from $1k to $2.5k and that’s a huge range.
Anyone have any idea on what used acoustic bullitts go for? That will at least get me to a starting point from which to begin the used and homie discount.
And Grayson if you’re reading this, keep it quiet dude! I still don’t know who you are on here.
