Lorry is supposed to arrive wednesday. Details say the package is 140lb.
so in my case they had the package listed around that weight because it’s palletised, but if you speak with fedex you can request they strip the pallet and deliver only the box itself, which is only 40 or so
How much is Raleigh losing per bike sold just on shipping?

Looking at the receipt from the driver, mine was listed at 58 lbs for bike plus 50 lbs for the pallet.
Measured the Lorry rack tubing today:
Frame rack: 25.4mm
Bolt on platform: 12mm

Looks like it’s medium BIGANT cratelyfe for me on the Lorry. The large is too tall unless I want to raise the bars 1.5-2”. Removing the platform would give a little more space, gonna leave it on for better crate support tho.
Medium is probably better anyway for maneuvering through doors at work and it still fits two grocery bags.
I don’t know why but y’all got me wanting a Lorry now

Driver called at 1045 to say he’d be there at 11 (an hour before the earliest time promised yesterday). He cut it off the pallet and we pulled it off the truck together. About as heavy as an XL shitty hybrid.
The front of the box was crushed so we opened it and checked to see if anything was missing. Everything was accounted for, but I had him fill out a report just in case the wheel had been damaged or something. When I pulled it out, everything was totally fine.

Swapped tires and saddle
Adjusted brakes just a little
Took off stickers

Bars need to get swapped. They’re soooo narrow feeling.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that there’s 10 braze-on bottle cage mount thingy’s inside the main triangle (quadrangle?). For mounting batteries I guess? But it only came with 4 bolts. Gonna need to get 6 more to keep water out.
Damn, I wanna stop working and swap tires now.
You need to fill that area with a giant tarck logo printed on some sheet metal. then you can use the bolts to hold it on.

I love the opening of the box with the driver and still filling out a damage report just in case. Total bike shop shit right there.
Also yeah that bike looks way less dumb without the white tires. The Lorry crew is going to quickly put the Clydesdale crew to shame.
