You're gunna hurt yourself: Carry Shit Olympics (aka the Cargo Bike thread)

Sounds like you want a thin rubber or even yoga-mat like material. Spray glue it down, or carpet tape the edges for a less permanent install.

I have some perfect thin rubber stuff with a small raised dots pattern on one side but I have no idea where I got it.

but but but spraying something is way faster and easier than cutting shapes and gluing

I guess i do have an old yoga mat and some rug tape. Man, this bike is going to be a DIY project wonderland

Shelf liner, maybe?

dunno if we’re talking about the same stuff, but I did the entire interior of a Jeep Wrangler with “spray” truck bed liner. Contrary to the name, it was entirely a brush-only affair.

why must life be so hard.

I just want the exact product I offhandedly imagined must exist, and I want it to be entirely effortless. Is that too much to ask?

Naw, just join a truck forum and spend a year wading through mental sewage until you can ask without getting flamed to death.

Let’s not and say we did!

Maybe this stuff?

That’s a whale of a website. Any time I read some article about how bland and sterile and samey modern web design is, I just remember back to when everything looked like that (or the Jandd site).

I’m gonna go ahead and pass on the stuff, not least because the possibly necessary instructional dvd is a separate purchase

did you just listen to that Reply All episode too?

BOB trailers, is the ibex worth it over the yak? I’m thinking running it with my HG :frowning:

Do you want your keg to foam up or nah?

nah?

I’ve used a regular Bob on fire roads, if it’s loaded down with enough weight it’s fine. Empty it’ll bounce around on pavement.

Is tarck still pro Clydesdale fork?

I’ve been riding my 20lb dog around in a Wald basket. Now we have another 40lbs of dog and I’m thinking about buying one of those cargo forks for rides to the park and vet. Will the Clydesdale handle a nice slow ride with a load of good dogs?

two dogs on one bike sounds like a challenge

Are they ok being in a confined space together?

@Andrew_Squirrel is this what you have on your cycle Truck?

Yeah, the big one tends to sit on the little one in the car and little one tolerates it stoically. My experience with the little one is that she’ll put up with a lot if she knows the bike ride ends at the park.

Nope, eZee
